“It was an intensive process to gain certification,” says Herb UK Managing Director Raoul Perfitt. “But at the end of the day it’s our people - their strong ethics and determination to make our world a better place - that made it possible.”

The B Corp™ community works towards reducing inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.
Importantly, it’s one of the only certifications in the world that is for the whole business, rather than for the product or service a business offers. B Corp are required to set goals that ensure they’re not only maintaining but constantly improving their social and environmental standards. They are reassessed every three years.
“Becoming a B Corp™ is a great way to ensure Herb UK never rests on its laurels,” Raoul says. “With the pressures and fast pace of life these days it’s too easy to lose sight of your ‘why’ and get caught on a path you know isn’t right. I don’t ever want that for Herb.”
