Reporting to: Customer Service Supervisor

Salary: £21,000 Pro-Rata

Working Hours: 16:00 – 21:00 Monday-Friday

Position: Part-Time/Temporary Contract for Maternity cover, with the possibility of a permanent contract.

Location: Based at our Headquarters in Lymington Hampshire or working from home anywhere in the UK.

 

 

Introduction:

As one of the largest independent manufacturers of hair products in the UK, our Customer Service team deals with UK, Australasian and North American customers directly as well as exporting to dedicated distributors in over 40 countries worldwide. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Customer Service Coordinator to join our team, supporting our customers world-wide.

Customer Service experience is essential for this role.

Candidates must have a smart phone (preferably iPhone) in order to use our Telephone App (if working from home).

Main Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for developing and enhancing customer relationships by responding to enquires, processing orders, handling complaints and maintaining regular, proactive contact with our existing customers. The Customer Service team work together to ensure our customer needs are met and expectations exceeded at every opportunity.

Qualities:

  • Candidates must be able to promptly and courteously answer telephone calls and e-mails
  • Well organised, self-motivated with an ability to multi-task
  • Fantastic communications skills
  • Able to use own initiative with a common-sense approach
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience:

  • Customer Service Experience
  • Proven people skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Microsoft office, CRM System, ERP system (preferred but not essential).
